Abstract
This issue is the culmination of extensive archive work, that touches on a cultural legacy specific to Czechoslovakia. From the unique photos of a club from the 80s, across cruising areas and artistic salons, the collection of queer images from the first half of the XX century, to the deportation of Allen Ginsberg by Czechoslovakian state security.

Issue's contributors: Petr Blažek, Douglas Crimp, Libuše Jarcovjáková, Ryszard Kisiel, Josef Rabara, Míra Valeš
Design: Martin Falck

DIK Fagazine is the first and, so far, the only art magazine from Central and Eastern Europe concentrated on homosexuality and masculinity. It combines queer archival research with contemporary art contributions. Founded in 2005 by artist Karol Radziszewski. The journal is based in Poland, published in English and distributed worldwide.
